On November 18, Hwayoung shared through her account, “After posting my statement last week, I have been waiting for their sincere apology more than anything else. However, now I have decided not to expect anything from CEO Kim Kwang-soo and the T-ara members who have not made any statements until now.”

12 years ago, Hwayoung’s twin sister, Hyoyoung, caused a stir by sending threatening texts to member Areum, saying things like “Let’s beat each other to dust” and “I’ll scratch your face so you can’t appear on broadcasts.”

Regarding this, Hwayoung explained, “I cared for Areum like my younger sister, but I was hurt by the numerous divisions between the T-ara members and Areum, and I had contacted my sister to express how upset I was. That was when my sister sent those messages to Areum.”

She added that Areum and Hyoyoung had privately apologized and reconciled years ago.

Meanwhile, Areum also recently spoke up about this incident, saying she didn’t really know the circumstances at the time.

Hwayoung continued, “CEO Kim Kwang-soo publicly spread my sister’s messages on broadcasts without confirming the facts, using it maliciously for his personal gain, causing psychological harm to me, my sister, and Areum once again. This is defamation of character through false statements.”

She also claimed that CEO Kim Kwang-soo had been aware of the bullying incident within T-ara but had turned a blind eye, “Everyone refused to be my roommate, and I had to live in the living room without a room in the dorm. The bullying in T-ara remains my biggest emotional wound.”

Regarding stylist Kim Woo-ri’s comment about “shampoo,” Hwayoung explained, “Kim Woo-ri became T-ara’s stylist due to his connection with CEO Kim Kwang-soo, but he was not the stylist when I joined. I had never met him or talked to him.”

She added, “Kim Woo-ri mentioned that I had character issues, saying I didn’t follow the system or manners when I joined as a new member, and that T-ara was not at fault in the bullying situation, this is all false.”

She continued, “Later, when the truth came out, Kim Woo-ri irresponsibly blamed the broadcast company for his lies, claiming it was ‘devil’s editing.’ Since the ‘shampoo comment,’ I have been suffering from countless malicious comments and criticism.”

Hwayoung concluded, “My sister no longer wants anything. She just wants to forget this matter,” and added, “I don’t understand why CEO Kim Kwang-soo is bringing this up again. I only want to tell the truth to prevent further speculation and malicious comments.”

She promised, “For the sake of all of us, I will forgive and understand CEO Kim Kwang-soo and the T-ara members and will work harder to heal from the wounds we’ve suffered.”

Finally, Hwayoung said, “For the sake of my family and me, I will take strong legal action against the spread of false information and malicious comments from now on.”
